In short

  • The beta is free and may change, pause or end at any time.
  • Costs and prices in the app are estimates. You decide your prices, and you are responsible for those decisions.
  • The AI that reads invoices and recipes can make mistakes. Check what it read before you confirm.
  • Your data is yours. You can export and delete it, as the privacy policy explains.
  • Israeli law applies, and the courts of Tel Aviv decide disputes.

Who we are and what these terms are

Mise n' Price is a food-cost calculator for kitchens. It is run by HvidStudio (in Hebrew: לבן שיווק), an Israeli business. "We" means HvidStudio and the people who run Mise n' Price. "You" means the person using it.

By signing in or using Mise n' Price you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. Mise n' Price is meant for businesses and professional cooks, and for people aged 18 and over.

A free private beta

Mise n' Price is currently a free private beta. We don't charge for it. It is unfinished software: it can have bugs, be slow, be unavailable, or lose a feature.

We may change, pause or end the beta, or remove your access, at any time. If we end it, we will try to tell you in advance by email and to leave you time to export your data. If we ever start charging, we will tell you first, and you will not be charged for anything you did not agree to.

Costs and prices are estimates

Mise n' Price works out food costs, margins and suggested prices from the prices, yields and recipes that you and your invoices provide. Those results are estimates and a tool to help you think. They depend on the data going in, which may be incomplete, out of date or wrong.

You decide what to charge, what to buy and what to put on the menu. We are not responsible for pricing decisions you make, or for losses, lost profit, or tax or accounting consequences that follow from relying on the numbers. Mise n' Price is not accounting, tax or legal advice.

AI features can make mistakes

Some features use an AI model (Claude, from Anthropic) to read invoices and recipes. AI can misread a number, a unit, a name or a whole line, especially on a blurry photo or handwriting, and it can miss lines or invent them. The privacy policy explains what happens to the files you upload.

Always check what was read before you confirm it. Once you confirm a line, it becomes part of your data and your costs, and you are responsible for it.

Your data

The recipes, prices, invoices and other things you enter are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Mise n' Price for you and your kitchen, as described in the privacy policy.

You can export or delete your data, and your account, at any time. The privacy policy explains how, how long backups are kept, and your other rights. Because this is a beta, please also keep your own copy of anything important.

Accounts and kitchens

  • One account belongs to one email address and one person. Don't share your sign-in with others.
  • You can run several kitchens from one account. A kitchen is shared with other people only by invitation: whoever you invite can see and change that kitchen's data, so invite only people you trust.
  • Keep your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for what is done through your account, and you should tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into it.

Acceptable use

Please use Mise n' Price only for running your kitchen. You agree not to:

  • break the law, or use the service to infringe other people's rights
  • upload files that you have no right to use, or that contain malware
  • try to get into other people's accounts or data, or to bypass security or limits
  • overload, scrape, copy or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to build a competing product
  • resell the service or give access to people outside your kitchen

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

Our work

The software, design and name of Mise n' Price belong to us. These terms give you the right to use the service as it is offered, and nothing more. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve the product without owing you anything.

No warranty and limited liability

The beta is provided "as is" and "as available", without promises that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost profit, lost data, or pricing and business decisions. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it, which during the free beta is zero.

Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit, and nothing here takes away rights that the law gives you as a consumer, where they apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the beta changes or when we start charging. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters, we will email you before it takes effect. If you keep using Mise n' Price after that, you accept the new terms.

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them or about Mise n' Price, except where the law gives you the right to go to another court. If you write to us first, we will try to settle it with you.

If these terms are available in more than one language and the versions differ, the Hebrew version decides.
